Mr. Eisnor lives in Chester Basin with his wife Corinne and three children Ben, Sarah and Johannah, two dogs Dan and Coco and too many farm animals to mention (or count). I began teaching in 1993 and spent my first five years teaching in Northern Ontario flying in float planes, fishing and enjoying the northern wilderness.
I came home to Nova Scotia and my family farm in 1998 where I taught history at New Germany High School for a year and then moved to Bridgewater Elementary School where I have been teaching grade 4 and 5 for 15 years.
I enjoy bringing Canada's rich history alive for my students, making science and history videos and incorporating technology into the curriculum wherever possible. When at home you can find me looking after the ducks or the sheep or spending time with my family. I enjoy painting, reading (especially history books; I have a special interest in the Royal Navy and the Age of Sail) and cooking.
I recently completed a Master's Degree in Curriculum Studies with a focus in Technology Integration.
